Kinds of kindness és una faula en forma de tríptic que narra tres històries: la d’un home atrapat que intenta agafar les regnes de la pròpia vida; la d’un policia aterrit perquè la seva dona, que havia desaparegut al mar, ha tornat i sembla una altra persona i, finalment, la història d’una dona decidida a trobar algú amb un do especial destinat a convertir-se en un líder espiritual prodigiós .

Kinds of kindness es una fábula en forma de tríptico que narra tres historias: la de un hombre atrapado que intenta tomar las riendas de su propia vida; la de un policía aterrado porque su mujer, que había desaparecido en el mar, ha vuelto y parece otra persona y, por último, la historia de una mujer decidida a encontrar a alguien con un don especial, destinado a convertirse en un prodigioso líder espiritual.

On the eve of World War II and the end of his life, the famous father of psychoanalysis Sigmund Freud invites the iconic author C.S. Lewis to a debate on the existence of God. In this way, two of the greatest minds of the 20th century converge to fight a personal battle in which they address the great questions of existence and collide on topics such as love, sex or the meaning of life. Inevitably the theme of the nature of his relationships with other people also arises, exploring Freud’s unique relationship with his lesbian daughter Anna and Lewis’s unconventional romance with the mother of his best friend. The lives of Freud and Lewis, past, present and fantasy, intertwine in a dynamic journey that surpasses the confines of Freud’s study.
